DMO-Research on Centenarian Businesses highlighted in media
In the flurry of startups and businesses closing down in rapid succession, Tamm Hellström has researched how it can be that some businesses keep going over the years, decades even, becoming part of and contributing to the local community? These qualities are often held in high esteem among customers and guests, and yet are rarely visible when looking at hard numbers. Perhaps this is subject to change though?
Tamm Hallström has been the leader of the project Vad kan vi lära oss av 100-åringar? (What can we learn from 100-year-olds?) in collaboration with researchers from KTH and Score, funded by Hakon Swenson Stiftelsen and Handelsrådet. Another collaborator is photographer Martin Kull, Contextphoto, who has taken all the marvellous pictures for the project, and to whom we extend our thanks for letting us use one above.
