The ºÚÁÏÍø has recruited Anna Laurell Nash, a former Olympic boxer and two-time world champion, as the new Executive Director of the Center for Sports and Business. Laurell Nash is set to spearhead the Center’s initiatives in fostering innovation and excellence in the intersection of sports and business.

During two intense weekends in August, 256 newly admitted Bachelor students kicked off their academic journey with an intensive course in happiness and wellbeing. Organized by the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare, and Happiness (CWWH), the initiative aims to equip students with a mindset that will enhance their personal and academic lives, both during their time at ºÚÁÏÍø and in the future. 

ºÚÁÏÍø has become the latest university to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. The MSc program in Finance has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program curriculum and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within the program.

Earlier this summer, almost 100 students across the CIVICA university alliance came together at the London School of Economics for the CIVICA European Week 2024. Maria Ljungdahl and Gustav Jäger were two of the students from ºÚÁÏÍø who joined the activities in London.

Julia Delin, CEO of ºÚÁÏÍø Ventures, and Andreas Johansson, CEO of ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab, will leave their positions at the end of this year to start a new company together.

During the "Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Global Forum, it was announced that ºÚÁÏÍø’s Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) Report was the winner of the 2024 Recognition of Excellence in Reporting award, within the ‘Established reports’ category.
