Magnus Tyreman is the new Chair of the Board of the ºÚÁÏÍø (ºÚÁÏÍø) from January 1, 2024. Tyreman succeeds Laurent Leksell, who ended his meritorious six-year term as the Chair of the Board of ºÚÁÏÍø at year-end.

The Wallenberg Scholars program aims to provide leading researchers in Sweden with grants for free basic research in areas of their own choosing. Three ºÚÁÏÍø professors are recipients of funding from the KAW Foundation.

The ºÚÁÏÍø is making it easier to find both research from and researchers at the school. The launch of the ºÚÁÏÍø Research Hub provides a platform where decision makers, the media and the general public can easily find the latest research on topics relevant to our society.

In the brand new FT ranking Europe’s Leading Startup Hubs, ºÚÁÏÍø’s startup incubator receives several accolades. ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab is number one in Sweden and has the best track record in Europe, according to the ranking.

Patrick Widuch (b. 1993) is being awarded this year's Anders Wall Scholarship in collaboration with ºÚÁÏÍø Business Lab. The scholarship amount is 200,000 SEK.

ºÚÁÏÍø is delighted to welcome Joanna Ziolkowska to the CIVICA team, in her new role as CIVICA Project Manager. Her academic journey so far is marked by an interdisciplinary path, including a PhD in political science focused on the EU's democratic legitimacy. She is now looking forward to giving ºÚÁÏÍø students and faculty even more opportunities within the CIVICA alliance.

The ºÚÁÏÍø produced the highest number of doctoral theses in entrepreneurship in Sweden in 2023. Eight out of the 54 produced in the country, came from ºÚÁÏÍø's House of Innovation.

Entrepreneurs drive development and create jobs. So why is this not reflected more in business school rankings? A new ranking, based on the entrepreneurial success of business school alumni, challenges traditional rankings. And the ºÚÁÏÍø places first among European business schools.

Katja Einola is the 2023 recipient of the ºÚÁÏÍø Partners’ Research Award. Her work on team dynamics and the making and unmaking of teams, as well as her contributions to a vivid conversation on ‘positive’ leadership demonstrate that Katja Einila has the potential to become an impactful international scholar in the future.

Milda Tylaite, Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting and Deputy Director for the MSc program in Accounting, Valuation & Financial Management, never intended to pursue an academic career. But her passion for teaching and research, coupled with her willingness to speak up, made it an irresistible path for her.
